Holding Pattern

Victorian Police Minister Tim Holding has been under fire over crime rates in the country. Worst offender is Mt Thomas, where a major crime is committed every week. Murders, larceny, anything goes in the sleepy little community where most of the police have been transfered from the city.
But, says Sgt. Tom Croydon, most of the crimes are solved within fourty minutes or so.
Concerned citizens were hopeful after anouncement of a cut last year, but the dastardly episodes seem to have simply moved from evenings to daytime.
