New Series!!!

I was going to say something about the AFL grand final, but the only people happy with the result are from Western Australia, and I don't know anyone from there. Instead, we present this first part of a new series, entitled "What Everyone Else Is Watching".

Australia beat South Korea 4-3 in the women's hockey world cup.

Craig Mottram beat Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge in today's 3,000 metre road-race at the Great Northern Run meeting in Newcastle, England.

Fourth seed Dmitry Tursunov of Russia ousted top seeded Spaniard Tommy Robredo in three sets to set up a summit clash against third seed Tomas Berdych in the Kingfisher Airlines Tennis Open.

Defending champion Fernando Alonso on Saturday took a major step towards retaining his title by taking the pole position for Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix.

American DJ Trahan has birdied the final two holes to maintain his two-shot lead after three rounds of the Southern Farm Bureau Classic.

Xerox Ducati’s Troy Bayliss improved his chances of clinching his second World Superbike Championship by setting the fastest time in the Superpole session in Imola, Italy, site of the penultimate round of the championship.

There. Who needs mainstream sports coverage?
